Rabindranath Tagore University
Rabindranath Tagore University (RNTU) is India’s first skill-based university that focuses on vocational learning. It was founded in 1985 and is now a part of All India Society For Electronics and Technology (AISECT). The college offers several diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The university aims to provide students with excellence in education and research. It is one of the first private universities in Madhya Pradesh. It is considered one of the premium institutions in India. Rabindranath Tagore University is recognized by Section 2(f) of the UGC Act. AICTE, NCTE, and BCI.
The college offers courses in these five faculties:
- Faculty of commerce and management
- Faculty of arts and humanities
- Faculty of science
- Faculty of computer science and IT
- Faculty of agriculture
Students have the option to study in both regular and distance learning courses. The faculty of the university is highly experienced and comprises some of the leading names in the industry. The faculty of the university is composed of some of the leading experts in the industry who are committed to providing the best education to all the students to ensure that they become leading graduates in the field that they choose and are fully prepared for their professional lives. The college also has regular workshops and conferences. The workshops are conducted to ensure every student gets exposure to the practical side of things and learn more about how their professional lives would actually be. The conferences, on the other hand, give the students information and the experiences of people who have already been in the professional world. The students get a chance to interact with the guest lecturers who visit the universities and learn from their experiences and wisdom.
The university uses both modern and traditional methods of learning, combining the two. Students are taught with lectures, textbooks and also modern learning tools like smart classes and e-learning. There is a very strong focus on practical knowledge so that the students are fully equipped to tackle any problem they face in the professional world.
Individual attention is also provided to students who need it. We, at RNTU know that not every student has the same abilities and some may at times find it difficult to grasp concepts. For this, we hold remedial classes after regular classes to ensure every student understands everything. Students can attend these extra classes to clear any doubts or questions they have.
RNTU also has certain student centric facilities that make it one of the best universities in India. These include counseling, training and placement cell, personality grooming, interview skills just to name a few. Our faculty ensures that every student is ready to take on the world with whichever field they choose.
Infrastructure:
RNTU has state of the art infrastructure, with modern facilities within campus. The campus has labs that are fully equipped and a library that houses books on every topic that a student can need. The university also has hostel facilities and cafeterias for the students.
Education:
RNTU provides students with both technical and non-technical courses in every stream. We offer undergraduate, postgraduate, research programs and courses in both distance and regular learning. For non technical courses, admission follows a first come first serve basis. For technical courses, admission is given on the basis of merit in the AJEE examinations. The admissions start in March and continue till August.
